From the moment the beat scene started emerging as its own thing, there were different movements - some beat makers leaned to jazz roots of hiphop and relied on samples, some were influenced by electronic scene, others turned their beats into full compositions with playing instruments live.

This album is a beautiful, quirky and wonderfully weird merge of it all. Jazz, ambient, boombap, samples, live instrumentation - Karavelo playfully and effortlessly blends different styles and influences together into an immersive, cohesive and thoughtfully assembled world of his own.

Romantically themed, the album tells a story of a breakup and portrays every aspect of it - from the realisation that the relationship is over, to "please don't leave" stage, episodes of self-doubt and feeling lost, memories of the good times and finally, the moments of bliss, love and acceptance.
